Join us at Flora & Forage for an indulgent, restorative session of botanical art-making bliss! Together we'll design and create cyanotypes, a historic photographic process that uses the sun itself as our camera. By experimenting with shape and texture, light and timing, we’ll produce unique, one-of-a-kind prints on paper that celebrate and honor the delicate beauty of the natural world. Each participant will leave with at least three cyanotype prints and the practical know-how to make many more at home. This is an art party—part social gathering, part hands-on studio time—where you can sip delicious teas, coffees, and wines, make art with friends, and soak in the gorgeous, lush atmosphere of Flora & Forage. Rain or shine, everyone is welcome to join the creative fun!

Creating art playfully and without judgment lets us forget about being perfect. It opens room for self-reflection, connecting with others, and simply enjoying the process. Further more, making art together in a judgment-free space challenges ideas of what art “should be,” sparking conversations that build understanding and kindness. This open approach celebrates different viewpoints, since everyone’s background, experiences, and culture shape their art uniquely.
