The Radical Hotel

Asheville, NC 28801
You are cordially invited to an enchanted evening of shadow-play with Miranda Wildman at the Radical Hotel — a whimsical soiree where botanical life awakens under brush and light. Step into a world where pigment dances across paper as we sip luscious mocktails and sparkling cocktails, nibble on delightful noshes, and celebrate art as a feast for the senses.
This is not a workshop — it’s an art party: a playful, colorful gathering full of laughter, music, and creative flow. Bring a friend and turn it into an art date, or come ready to meet new folks. Guided by Miranda’s joyful approach, you’ll experiment with shadow, texture, and color to coax botanical forms into vivid, postcard-sized treasures.
By the end of the night you’ll carry home several small works of art — perfect for sending love through the mail, pinning to the fridge, or tucking into a pocket as a keepsake of a magical evening. Come for the cocktails & mocktails, stay for the art wonder, and leave with a handful of handmade moments and memories.

Creating art playfully and without judgment lets us forget about being perfect. It opens room for self-reflection, connecting with others, and simply enjoying the process. Further more, making art together in a judgment-free space challenges ideas of what art “should be,” sparking conversations that build understanding and kindness. This open approach celebrates different viewpoints, since everyone’s background, experiences, and culture shape their art uniquely.
