Celebrate the spooky season with Miranda at the Show + Tell Boo-tique for a Mixed Media Memento Mori workshop. Use recycled materials to create beautiful art that reminds us of our mortality while honoring loved ones (people, pets, plants, etc). Memento Mori literally means Remember Death so in turn we will celebrate the joys of life as a part of honoring death. No need to bring a thing except yourself and any small materials you may want to reuse. Art is for everyone—even in the shadows.

Creating art playfully and without judgment lets us forget about being perfect. It opens room for self-reflection, connecting with others, and simply enjoying the process. Making art together in a judgment-free space challenges ideas of what art “should be,” sparking conversations that build understanding and kindness. This open approach celebrates different viewpoints, since everyone’s background, experiences, and culture shape their art uniquely.
