Mixed media fun for everyone! In this three hour Art Party with Miranda everyone will learn how to create mixed media paintings on wood. Miranda will guide you in the use of materials such as acrylic paint, watercolor paint, water soluble crayons, paper, fabric, and a variety of mixed media art supplies resulting in a beautiful piece of art ready to display. We will focus on play and experimentation with colors, textures and layers and have fun with the process. Participants will go home with at least three 4x 4” mixed media paintings on wood.

Art has an innate ability to engage our playful spirit. Through playing with a variety of art materials we can express our deepest emotions and unleash our imaginations, transcending the boundaries of reality. The act of creating art brings us pure delight, reminding us of the childlike wonder we often leave behind in adulthood.
