Our Memento Mori dinner is a candlelit evening designed to honor both the grief we carry for those we have lost — and the quiet readiness to release the versions of ourselves that have completed their season.
This time, we are doing things a little differently.
Rather than gathering around a single table, the evening will unfold as a strolling dinner — small plates, flowing wine, and unhurried conversation moving gently through the space. We wanted room. The kind of room that only comes when an evening is allowed to breathe.
Because at the heart of this night is something we have never offered before.
Artist Miranda Wildman will lead every guest through the creation of your very own Memento Mori token — a deeply personal, handmade keepsake that honors both the loved ones you carry and the version of yourself you are ready to release. Each piece entirely unique. Each one made by your own hands, in community, guided every step of the way. An act of witness. Of remembrance. Of making grief and transformation into something beautiful you can hold and take home. All materials included.
A simple shared ritual at the heart of the evening honors what has completed its time. We gather not to perform sadness or manufacture healing — but to witness one another. To say: what you have carried deserves to be honored. And what is trying to emerge deserves to be welcomed.
