Inspired by Robert Frost’s poem “Dust of Snow”, I dove deep into my memories of growing up in Vermont in the wintertime. My mind flooded with lovely times of frolicking in the snow, it was a truly a delight to create this painting. In this visual story you will find a candlestick, a portal to where you want to be, a crow on a golden branch, pink mountains, evergreen trees, and of course, snow. I thought it ideal timing to share this with you after the day of inauguration. A breath of fresh air, a sigh of relief, a new perspective. A pause to reflect on the moment before moving forward with the work that we are here to do and the lives we are meant to lead and uplift.

Colors featured are dark turquoise green, hot pink, mustard yellow, light turquoise green, and florescent yellow. A touch of gold leaf makes the branch that the crow is standing on glimmer in the light.
